Pete Edochie and victor umeh on a burial ceremony.
Today, Saturday 4th June was yet another busy day for the people's senator, Chief Dr Victor Umeh OFR, Ohamadike Ndigbo as the gallant Igbo son storm Ezinifite for the funeral of late Mrs Agnes Nwamgbeke Ifediba (Nee Akobolom of Aguluzigbo ) mother of Chief Umejidike Ifediba, Ulukpulu 1 of Ezinifite, Ugoebenaja Igbo, Founder/President Anambra Women of Substance Organization.
The people were however excited having Ohamadike amongst them as they extolled him for his remarkable achievements whilst describing him as youth friendly and compassionate especially in identifying with those around him, in mourning and in times of celebration.
Referring to the former APGA governor of Anambra State who was earlier in the event, the people wondered why he is parading himself around the state even when he is no longer the governor and is not contesting any election. One of the discussants who wished to remain anonymous demanded that Mr Peter Obi should stop heating up the state as the people are better with APGA than the party (PDP ) which almost destroyed the state in their years of reign.
"Peter jee zuo ike, APGA bu nke anyi. Anyi agaghi eso ya ba PDP. Ohamadike Ndigbo ka anyi ma" - the man added
Ohamadike in his speech noted that the late Agnes was from his home town Aguluzigbo and married to Ezinifite pointing out that despite his personal relationship with Chief Umejidike Ifediba, his visit was also a respect for his late sister (Ada Aguluzigbo ). He described late Agnes as a great woman who used her life time working hard whilst living a true christian life which as a result led to the successes of her children. He urged them to uphold her antecedents as well as pray for the peaceful repose of her soul.
Chief Dr Victor Umeh arrived in the company of Hon Cy Agupugo, SSA to the Governor on Diaspora. Some of the notable people who also adored the presence of Ohamadike were Chief Pete Edochie, star Nollywood actor and Hon Joe Dimobi, former Member Anambra State House of Assembly representing Anaocha II Constituency. Other were Dr Chike Obidigbo, Founder Osisioma Foundation and Chief Ralph Nwike, Oradiaro Oraifite, DG Osisioma Foundation; Chief Mrs Chika Ibeneme, former commissioner for works Anambra state; Chief Okwuchukwu Ezeaku, Isi mmiri Ukpo, former SSG Anambra state; Chief Omeife Omeife, Mbuze Mbakwu, former DG Mbakwu town Union.
